François Laurent

François is based in Paris and holds a masters degree in Finance (EDHEC, France). He spent 6 years in Audit and Consulting in Europe and Africa before becoming a Finance Director at Mars and Wrigley for 19 years in a wide variety of geographic locations. As a former Regional Finance V.P in the Middle East, Central & Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Asia-Pacific, Francois has acquired unique experience of managing and developing business in diverse market situations and cultural environments.

Francois joined the Economics of Mutuality team in the middle of 2017 and focused on the concept of the Mutual P&L and the development of concrete solutions to put it into practice, based on his extensive experience in International Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting and Audit. In this context he is now engaged in multiple activities to continue the research on the Mutual P&L, share knowledge through education and promote implementation in actual business context.
