Jo Choi

Fellow, Maua Projects

Jo has joined Mars Catalyst in 2016 and has worked on Economics of Mutuality-based projects in Kenya, Philippines and Indonesia. She is currently focused on digitalising EoM Solution’s iconic Maua project. The process is expected to help upgrade the digital literacy of Maua entrepreneurs as well as provide greater business and management insights of the Maua business.

Jo has prior experience in the financial services industry, having worked in the areas of investment banking, sovereign risk management and government relations. She has a masters degree in Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford and as well as a masters degree in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She is based in Tokyo and has a passion for the environment, music and swimming.
